Day 13 — The Hanged Man
22-days of Tarot: Returning to self-trust
Tarot is a cyclical map that guides us back to ourself over and over again.
The Hanged Man is the holy pause. Sometimes self-trust looks like not pushing. This card arrives when the old strategies stop working — not to punish you, but to reorient you. Returning to self-trust means learning to wait without panic, to surrender without collapsing. The Hanged Man teaches that your worth is not dependent on speed. Perspective arrives when you stop thrashing for it. You let the next step reveal itself, instead of forcing it.
Reflection: What am I trying to force that might need time instead?
Somatic practice: Lie down with legs up a wall (or feet on a chair). Long exhale breaths. Let your body experience stillness as safety.
Mantra: I allow clarity to come to me.
Thank you for being here.
If this landed, let it be simple.
Quick start (2 steps):
Choose one line from today that felt true in your body.
Repeat today’s somatic practice + mantra for 3 days. (Repetition builds safety faster than “doing it all.”)
Next best step (optional):
If you want gentle, consistent nervous system support between posts, my Somatic Video Library Membership ($17/month) is a low-pressure way to keep practicing with me in real time.
