Healing is remembering who you are — body, spirit, and ancestry.
I am a psychotherapist—but that title barely scratches the surface.
I created Obsidian Woman after walking through my own healing journey. A journey that began while I was training to become a therapist. Despite all my education and tools, I found myself struggling with anxiety, depression, and disconnection from my roots.
It wasn’t until I began listening to my body through somatic practices that I discovered what true healing felt like. For a long time, I asked, “What’s wrong with me?”
When I learned to slow down and listen, the question became, “What is my body saying?” That shift changed everything. The obsidian stone, known in Mexica spirituality for its power to purify and transmute, became a guide and mirror for my own transformation.
Through that process, Obsidian Woman was born: a healing practice that integrates the clinical with the sacred, bridging psychotherapy, somatic awareness, and ancestral wisdom.
How I Work:
Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT)
Somatic and energy healing practitioner
Rooted in Mexica spiritual wisdom
Focused on embodiment, emotional flow, and self-trust
My work is both scientific and spiritual, intuitive and intentional.
Every session is a ceremony of presence. A space to release, remember, and return to yourself.
I believe emotions are sacred messengers. When we listen to them through the body, we return to wholeness.
