Day 7 — The Lovers
22-days of Tarot: Returning to self-trust
Tarot is a cyclical map that guides us back to ourself over and over again.
The Lovers is a choice point. Not just romance — congruence. This card asks: where do you split in two? The part that wants approval and the part that wants truth. Returning to self-trust means choosing integrity over performance. It means letting your decisions be led by love, not fear of rejection. The Lovers teaches that the most sacred union is the one you create within yourself: when your heart and your values agree. From that place, you stop negotiating your needs to earn belonging.
Reflection: Where am I choosing what looks good over what feels true?
Somatic practice: One hand on heart, one on lower belly. Inhale and feel both hands rise. Exhale and ask: What choice brings me back to myself? Notice the body’s answer.
Mantra: I choose what chooses me.
Thank you for being here.
If this landed, let it be simple.
Quick start (2 steps):
Choose one line from today that felt true in your body.
Repeat today’s somatic practice + mantra for 3 days. (Repetition builds safety faster than “doing it all.”)
Next best step (optional):
If you want gentle, consistent nervous system support between posts, my Somatic Video Library Membership ($17/month) is a low-pressure way to keep practicing with me in real time.
