Day 20 — The Sun

22-days of Tarot: Returning to self-trust

Tarot is a cyclical map that guides us back to ourself over and over again.

The Sun is the return of warmth. It’s the part of you that doesn’t brace for life. Returning to self-trust means letting joy be trustworthy — not something you have to earn, not something that disappears if you look at it too closely. The Sun teaches visibility: it is safe to be seen, especially by yourself. This card invites play, honesty, celebration, and the simple medicine of presence. The more you allow goodness in, the more your body remembers: life can be kind.

Reflection: Where am I withholding joy out of fear it won’t last?

Somatic practice: Inhale and reach your arms overhead. Exhale and lower them slowly. Let a small smile soften your face — an invitation, not a performance.

Mantra: It is safe to shine.

Thank you for being here.
If this landed, let it be simple.

Quick start (2 steps):

  1. Choose one line from today that felt true in your body.

  2. Repeat today’s somatic practice + mantra for 3 days. (Repetition builds safety faster than “doing it all.”)

Next best step (optional):
If you want gentle, consistent nervous system support between posts, my Somatic Video Library Membership ($17/month) is a low-pressure way to keep practicing with me in real time.
