Day 1 — The Fool

22-days of Tarot: Returning to self-trust

Tarot is a cyclical map that guides us back to ourself over and over again.

We start with The Fool, the beginning of a new cycle, the beginning of your expansion. The Fool is the moment before the first step — the inhale before the leap. Self-trust begins here, not because you’re certain, but because you’re willing to meet life without armoring your heart, you’re willing to be open and receive. The Fool reminds you that you don’t earn your worth through perfect planning. You remember it by choosing presence over prediction. This card is sacred innocence: the part of you that knows you’re allowed to begin again, even with shaking hands. The medicine is risk, yes— but more than that, it’s openness. You practice trusting yourself by honoring the small spark inside you that says, “There’s more for me.”

Reflection: Where am I asking for certainty before I allow myself to begin?

Somatic practice: Stand tall. Let your arms hang heavy. Slowly shift your weight forward one inch, then back. Repeat three times. Notice where your body feels curious instead of braced. Take one small step toward that feeling.

Mantra: I trust the first step.

Thank you for being here.
You don’t have to do 22 days perfectly. You just have to return.

Quick start (2 steps):

  1. Choose one line from today that felt true in your body.

  2. Repeat today’s somatic practice + mantra for 3 days. (Repetition builds safety faster than “doing it all.”)

Next best step (optional):
If you want gentle, consistent nervous system support between posts, my Somatic Video Library Membership ($17/month) is a low-pressure way to keep practicing with me in real time.
